Areas of Expertise

Surgical Training & Clinical Interests

Structured, supervised training across plastic and reconstructive surgery, hernia repair, and general surgery at accredited teaching hospitals in Islamabad, Pakistan.

01 — Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery

Since January 2024, I have been undertaking Higher Surgical Training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as a Post-Graduate Trainee Registrar (ST3 equivalent) at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Islamabad — training toward FCPS (Plastic Surgery).

This includes dedicated coursework in microsurgery and workhorse flap reconstruction (Resurge International, 2025) and the PAPS Aesthetic Course (Pakistan Association of Plastic Surgeons, 2024), building on earlier rotations in plastic surgery during core surgical training.

02 — Hernia & General Surgery

Hernia Repair & General Surgery

Fifteen months of Core General Surgery Training (PAF Hospital, Islamabad, 2021–2023) built a solid foundation in general surgical practice, including hernia repair, alongside a Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons — IMM (General Surgery).

This training is supported by certification in Primary Surgical Skills (College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan), reflecting a careful, patient-safety-first approach to general surgical care.

03 — Broader Surgical Rotations

General & Local Surgical Cases

Beyond core general and plastic surgery, training has spanned Orthopedic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, and Ophthalmology /Ophthalmic Surgery, alongside House Officer rotations in Cardiology, Rheumatology, and General Medicine — giving a broad, well-rounded surgical and clinical foundation for managing local and general surgical cases.

This breadth supports confident, well-rounded management of general and local surgical cases beyond a single specialty.

Hospital corridor

All surgical training and clinical work take place under appropriate supervision within accredited teaching hospitals in Pakistan, as part of ongoing postgraduate specialization (FCPS, Plastic Surgery).
